Prawn & Mango Fry



Ingredients :
  • 250 gms Prawns – shells removed & cleaned
  • 1/2 cup grated raw mango
  • 1 small onion
  • 1/2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp coriander powder
  • asofoetida – a pinch
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 20 curry leaves
Method :
  • Heat oil in a pan or kadhai and temper mustard seeds & cumin seeds. Add chopped onions and curry leaves.
  • Fry for few mins. Add turmeric powder, grated mango and prawns. Saute a while.
  • Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, asofoetida and salt to taste.
  • Cook it covered on low flame for 10 mins. Serve hot with rice.
