Prawn & Mango Fry
Ingredients :
- 250 gms Prawns – shells removed & cleaned
- 1/2 cup grated raw mango
- 1 small onion
- 1/2 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp coriander powder
- asofoetida – a pinch
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 20 curry leaves
Method :
- Heat oil in a pan or kadhai and temper mustard seeds & cumin seeds. Add chopped onions and curry leaves.
- Fry for few mins. Add turmeric powder, grated mango and prawns. Saute a while.
- Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, asofoetida and salt to taste.
- Cook it covered on low flame for 10 mins. Serve hot with rice.
